The basis of the diet rest on the individuals’ response to lectins in the foods we eat. Each person reacts differently to the food we consume. If we supply our bodies with the appropriate foods for our blood type then we can develop a better way to keep off the weight. It is advocated by Dr. D’adamo.

Blood Group Diet I

More vegetables were consumed during this time. People within this blood group type respond better to more vegetables and less red meat.

Blood Group Diet III

The next blood group has B type blood. Dr. D’Adamo believes this blood comes from nomadic people who have a very flexible and resilient digestive system. These individuals that fall within this category, according to D’Adamo are the only people who can adequately have an intake of dairy products.
